The Echo Technologist position is responsible for performing Echo procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision of technical detail.  The Echo Technologist will perform these specialized procedures with an advanced knowledge of physical and hemodynamic principles and the ability to optimize ultrasound images. Occasional performance of general ultrasound procedures is required. This position may be a multiple specialty position, including the duties listed under Peripheral Vascular Technologist.

Education:  Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program, or at least two (2) years of echo experience.

Experience:  Minimum one (1) year experience as an echo tech after completion of an accredited program, or two (2) years of experience.

Licensure:  RDCS preferred.

Additional Requirements:  Must be certified in CPR (BLS).
